I have been coming to Local Grill for years as its easily one of the best steakhouses in Joburg. The meat it of high quality and always cooked to perfection. Their grass-fed ribeye steak is just perfect and absolutely worth the price.

This my go to place for anything meaty! The food at The Local Grill is phenomenal. I've visited on many occasions and the one thing I love, is that the food is ALWAYS consistently great! They certainly are specialists in the industry and their passion is evident in the meals they serve. They have a great selection of wines and drinks. The service has also been superb on every occasion. The Local Grill is without a doubt my very favourite steakhouse!

It’s little wonder that every INTERNAT10NAL touring sports team eats at Local Grill From the minute you walk in the door you are made to feel at home. Superb select of wine and without a doubt the best selection of beer on tap ( especially as I enjoy the Belgium hops ) The waiters are so friendly efficient and their recommendations are spot on( it’s not always the most expensive item that necessarily the best choice ) I highly recommend the kitchen tour and you certainly feel all the meat wiser after . Whilst I digress the business end is the sumptuous steak and sides .. day aged cuts served with mind blowing sides . Local Grill is all about real value real people and a really damm good time for the whole family . It just keeps me going back time and time again and that’s no BULL.

Easily the best place to get a great steak in South Africa! I am never disappointed when I eat here and have eaten many times. The best part of the experience is that when you order a steak that is all that arrives on the plate with all the other items on the side (the way it should be). I usually ask the waiter what is good and go with that. You can see the passion behind the restaurant in the food that is served.
